What Jetting Does That a Cable Cannot

A cable bores a hole. A jetter cleans a pipe. In Glendale that difference matters in three places:

• The shared stack in an apartment building — one pipe carries every kitchen and bathroom above it, and a cable only clears the unit that called. Jetted end to end, the stack stops backing up for the whole building.

• The long horizontal run under a south Glendale building — grease and scale settle along the bottom of the pipe, where a cable rides over them. Pressure scours the full diameter.
